Then open a terminal window and enter the commands below to install CPUBurn, install and run a temperature sensor and start the test, in this case on a four-core AMD CPU. To start a test, first open Ubuntu's “System Monitor” application to watch the CPU usage. Run one test instance for each thread or core of the CPU. The “BurnP6” and “BurnK7” tests are for later models of Intel and AMD CPUs, respectively.
